Chart tip: Once printed use reward stickers such as foil stars or happy faces each time your child has a successful trip to the bathroom to fill in the boxes on the chart. Have your child work towards a goal, for the first day we gave our son a temporary tattoo at the end of the night for his successful day. Each day he got a special little reward like an extra story. At the end of the week he got a wooden train that he had been asking for to add to his Thomas Collection. Whenever we asked him to go to the potty and he seemed to hesitate I reminded him about the sticker chart and train, then he couldn't wait to go.
