The film’s protagonist is a rat named Remy (Patton Oswalt) who dares to dream the impossible dream of becoming a gourmet chef in a five-star French restaurant. Mom Review
Disney/Pixar has cooked up yet another fantastic family movie. The 3-D animation in this film is absolutely brilliant with the food looking so real you can almost taste it and the wonderful Paris scenery in the background is mesmerizing. Brad Bird has done a wonderful creative job in bringing a rat into the kitchen, which is normally one of the most disgusting creature to imagine in a kitchen, and pairing him with a clumsy endearing trash boy creating an unlikely duo with a unique friendship. The story line is ingenious and appeals to both kids and adults, actually I think my husband and I enjoyed it more than the kids. The movie seemed to be longer than most animated films, but it kept us all entertained with it’s stunning animation, charming characters, and laughs. With many animated movies I am able to sit through and enjoy it once while my kids will watch over and over again, this is one film that I have actually sat through more than once because it is that enjoyable.
